It retains a fine, age toned gold finish with slight wear to the high areas revealing the sterling silver below. The wing measures 1 inches from wing tip to wing tip with the caduceus and letter N integral to the wing. The reverse is maker marked, PASQUALE and STERLING. The pin and roller locking catch remain operational. A fine-looking wing as worn by flight nurses during the Second World War.
