The poster is dedicated to the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union. The poster combines the symbols of the main representatives of the army - pilots (Air forces), infantrymen (RKKA) and sailors (Navy). The profiles of the young fighters stand out sculpturally against a red background, while the back depicts a heroic and fierce battle during the Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany invaders. The construction of the poster creates a sense of aspiration and high intensity of military heroism.

The red color reminds of the rivers of blood spilled by soldiers on the battlefields. The special place of the defender of the motherland in the rank of professions in the Soviet Union was highly appreciated. Patriotism, which was the main ideology in the Soviet country, called for admiration and pride in the heroes of the army, to be equal to them, to remember their names. This poster coped with these tasks beautifully, which, I must admit, is extremely rare to find.

Each sheet of the poster was folded one time in the middle, that is slightly to see after pre-restoration - flattened under professional press and tape repaired, so now it looks much better than before and overall condition is very good and it looks really stunning and commanding alive.
