This is a VERY RARE ORIGINAL copy of the'Confidential Airdromes Guide Southwest Pacific Area'. Published by Authority of the Commanding General, Army Air Forces on December 1st 1944. This publication is intended to provide airdrome data for airmen flying in the South-west Pacific Area. The primary objective is to provide sufficient detail to enable a pilot to orient himself having arrived in the general vicinity of his airdrome of destination to land. Security information on the inside front cover states'If an airplane carrying this document is forced down in enemy territory, document will be destroyed by burning'.
