Original WWII US Army Air Force Pilots A-11 Leather Flight Helmet M GREAT SHAPE

This was manufactured for the Army Air force by the Swan Shoe Company and still has the original tag on the inside. It is the Type A11. It has a gold Army Air Force with a star and eagle wings on the outside(This has some rub to it, see photos) and the same stamp in black on the inside. It is marked a Medium for size.

The leather is soft and supple with no sign of wear. The rubber ear pieces that would have held the earphones(EARPHONES ARE NOT INCLUDED) is in great shape with just a little scratching. All the buckles and straps are in great shape, with little or no wear. The one buckle on the back has made a little green tarnish on the leather that holds it(see photos). It has surface soiling over the inside, no spots just from the oils and dirt in someones hair would have come in contact with it(see photos).
