Original Wwii U. S. Army Air Force M-41 Field Jacket

ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO U. ARMY AIR FORCE M-41 FIELD JACKET. Made of a khaki color cotton shell with a wool flannel lining. The original to the jacket insignia consists of wool sergeant chevrons on the sleeves and an embroidered AAF patch on the left shoulder. All of the brown plastic buttons are present with the exception of one behind the collar that is broken & half missing.

The Talon zipper is in working order. The size tag on the inside back of the jacket is present and is marked 34R, the QM tag is missing from the pocket.

The sleeves were tailored to be a few inches shorter The jacket is in overall very good, clean condition. There are a few scattered spots and stains but they are minor.

There is some light wear and discoloration around the collar. The collar and cuffs are for the most part intact and not worn through as is so often seen with M-41 jackets (see close up photos).

There is a partial service number neatly inked on the inside of the jacket "P-3305". Overall a very nice example of the U. Army M1941 field jacket for your display or impression! The item "ORIGINAL WWII U.
