ORIGINAL WW2 US Army Pilots ATC (Air Transport Command) Wings

Here's some information about this item, it was my grandfather's. ARTIFACT: WWII Civilian Air Transport Command pilot wing in great condition. The wing features a shield that reads: "ATC" in raised lettering centered between intricately feather detailed wings and the shield is topped with a five pointed star. SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" x 1-1/4". MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper plated brass. ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch.
