This is actually a mismatched pair of boots made by two. Different contractors (makers) but total the same style and size. They both show the same level of ware which is not a whole lot.
The bottom texture pattern is fairly sharp with most of the ware to the heel. They were not made to walk in any more than to the plane and back. The temp at the height WWII bombers flew at was brutal. There was no heated cabin but heated flight suits. The rubber on bottom half on both is stiff and hard.
The zippers work but because the boot is so stiff they should not be forced to move. The bottom on one is cracked from age the other one is OK. One has a hole along the back spine the other does not. There is some cracking and finish ware on the top half leather but the marking are very good.
A permanent flopped over bend as shown. This is US ARMY AIR CORP history not boot to ware on a cold day in suburbia. They were not made for walking. The item "US Army Air Force Shearling WWII Type A-6 Converse Flight FLYING Boots Large" is in sale since Sunday, May 3, 2020.
