WWII US Army Air Corps Randolph Field Pilots Photo Album CBI Hump Pilot

This photo album came from the estate of of Major General Augustine M. He joined the the Army Air Corps in 1942 and received his flight training at Randolph Field in Texas. He went on to fly the C-46 Commando, C-47 Skytrain and B-26 Marauder aircraft in the China Burma India command, know as hump pilots. He served through the Korean and Vietnam wars rising to the rank of Major General and retired in 1973 from Mcdill AFB in Tampa. The album is from his flight training at Randolph Field.

There are 101 photos, the first few pages in the album are loose, but it is still a great album and piece of history. I have more of his items from the estate and will be listing them separately over the next couple of weeks. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. I lived in Japan for 8 years and collected several nice pieces.
