WWII US Army 14th Air Corps Force Grouping Order of the Flying Cloud and Banner
I HAVE NO INFO ON THE ORIGINAL OWNER. I TRIED TO GET IT BUT THE FAMILY KNEW NOTHING.
Grouping comes out of the Philadelphia Delaware area from one of my pickers. Legion of Merit is a full wrapped brooch. Some chipping to the red enameling to the 5 o clock arm. Officers hat insignia has no maker.
Has a few bends to it. Order of the flying cloud is numbered 320. Appears to be made out of silver. But I cant read asian markings. There is a few chips out of the enameling to the blue and white rays. The other medal is missing the links to hold the ribbon on. Has a silver tone to it but I cant read asian markings The arm at 1 oclock there is some chipping to the enameling. Also the blue enameling around the flower there is some chipping around the 7 oclock area. Ribbon is worn and has no pin assembly. Check out the pics for more details. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF AMERICA.
