This is a very fine World War II Army Air Corps Flight Surgeon's wing that is in excellent condition. The wing is full size and measures 3 inches from wing tip to wing tip. It well struck and exhibits sharp detail. The caduceus is applied as a separate piece to the center of the wing.

The reverse is maker marked,'AMICO' in an arc. Below this is'STERLING' and'+1/20 10k'.

The swing pin and roller locking catch are both present and remain fully functional. The gilt finish is lightly age toned giving the wing an attractive appearance. An exceptionally fine example in excellent, undamaged condition.
