WWII U. S. Army Air Corps Command Pilot Wing by Josten Clutch Back, Sterling

This is a fine World War II U. Army Air Corps Command Pilot's Wing that remains in excellent condition. It is a full size wing measuring 3 inches from wing tip to wing tip.

It is constructed of sterling silver with a semi-hollow back. The reverse is maker marked,'JOSTEN' over'STERLING' on the lower part of right wing.

It is well struck and exhibits fine detail to the wings, shield, and the star within the wreath. The clutch pins are straight and undamaged.

A beautiful and heavy sterling example in excellent, undamaged condition.
