This is a fine World War II U. Army Air corps Air Gunner's Wing that is in excellent condition. The wing is full size and measures 3 inches from wing tip to wing tip. It well struck and exhibits sharp detail. The central winged bullet has been applied as a separate piece. The reverse is semi-hollow and marked,'GEMSCO, NY' and'STERLING'. The swing pin and roller locking catch are both present and fully functional. A heavy, attractive, and undamaged example that displays beautifully.
