WWII Avirex Replica Army Air Corps Eagle Squadron Wool Hooded Pilot Overcoat

From a local estate of a county official who was involved in military, merchant marine, and sailing activities. He liked to wear expensive replica US military jackets and coats. This is probably one of the nicest and smartest looking coats he owned.

It is an Avirex replica of a US pilot's overcoat from the Eagle Squadron. Avirex coats are US made and the company is know for it's attention to detail.

This is a 3/4 length wool hooded coat with the Eagle Squadron E. Emblem embroidered on the left shoulder.

The Eagle Squadron was part of the pre1941 RAF made up of American volunteer pilots. The coat is a size large, but is a very roomy large and might fit a boarder line XL person. The closures are wooden with rope loops.

This is a very unusual and striking coat and I imagine quite warm. It shows very little wear. Great for reenacting or regular use. Please view the photo as it is part of the description. Low starting price with no reserve.
