Navigator's watch, model 4992B manufactured by the Hamilton Watch Company circa 1940 with Carrying case and original box. Watch is in good condition runs well, back has wear and scratching probably from navigator's use. Face and crystal are very good, a nice WW2 time piece.

These watches are 22 jewel pieces of mechanical art with superb accuracy made to a very high standard. Carrying case has some surface wear look like heat related (see pictures). Case is missing its glass lens.

Back of box has been damaged from fire or heat (see pictures). These watches were used throughout the war by bomber/navigators in planes such as the B-17 and the B-24 Liberators. Has much of its original packaging... Just as important as the item itself.. Sent insured, priority - signature needed...
