USAAF World War II Army Air Force Laredo ARMY AIRFIELD Texas Squadron Patch decal, unissued condition with a mailer and waxed paper protector sheet. Item came from family of a WWII gunner from a bomber crew. See photos for details and description/condition. If you are enjoying Masters of the Air series and are interested in WWII aviation and aren't familiar with Laredo Army Air Field, this was a gunnery school for gunners on B-17's and B-24's and this item would be a great addition to your collection and would look great in a frame. I wouldn't recommend trying to use the decal as a decal as it may be brittle and fall apart if soaked in water as it's approx.
Originally, during WWII, these could be applied to a trunk, suitcase, footlocker, helmet, liner, glass, blank leather patch, etc. The back of the decal has company information and directions on how to use it.
