Original WWII CBI Army Air Force Leather/Doeskin 48 Star American Flag Chit

Available is an original World War II American Flag leather or doeskin Chit that was used by the member of Army Air Force in the CBI theater. The airman likely served in the 10th or 14th Air Force. This example measures 10 ½ inches wide and 8 ¼ inches tall.

It is made up of 13 different pieces of leather that are machine stitched together. The chit is in excellent condition showing only light storage age.

It doesn't appear to have ever been sewn on a jacket. Please check out the large photos I have posted and judge condition for yourself. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
