Original World War II 3 Inch Sterling Silver Army Air Corps Command Pilot Wings - Pin Back. This beautiful, heavy, full size, 3 inch WWII Army Air Corps COMMAND Pilot sterling wings were stamped from a thick sheet of sterling silver, generating a flat backed badge (not scooped out as many examples are). The wings are a very robust-looking design, with attractive patina. The wings have a long, horizontal fixation pin on the rear, suspended between a hinge on the right wing, and a fine, operable, undamaged roller catch on the left wing.

The reverse of the left wing is marked "NS Meyer Inc, New York, " with the Meyer shield logo. The reverse of the right wing is marked STERLING.
