Original WW2 US Army Air Corp (USAAF) M5 Flak Helmet

Original WW2 US Army Air Corp (USAAF) Flak Helmet. There are the normal scrapes and scuffs one would expect with an issued military item, that is at least 80 years old. The shell of the helmet is intact. Ear flap hinges are intact and functional. There is no chin strap, though metal connectors (if that is even the right word) are still in place on the bails. The suspension system in the front of the helmet has damage (see photos). For the best description of the flak helmet, see attached photos. Feel free to ask questions.
