This is a gem of a find. It is an original Army Air Forces Type A-11 Intermediate leather flying helmet. During WWII very few extra large helmets were produced as the demand was very low.

Today the extra large A-11 is scarce and hard to find. This is in used very good condition. Leather is soft and supple. Chin strap assembly is complete and fully functional, Factory applied oxygen mask snaps. Interior is chamois lined and has the previous owners name on the inside.

Original label indicates this is a desirable extra large. If you need a size you can wear, this is for you. If there is a problem or concern contact me and I'll make it right.
