Army Air Forces Type A-11 Flying Helmet- Extra Large

This is an original mid war issue Army Air Forces Intermediate Type A-11 leather flying helmet. It is in used very good condition. Chin strap assembly is complete and fully functional. Incudes factory applied oxygen mask snaps.

Leather is very soft and supple. Original label indicates this is a desirable size extra large. During WWII few extra large were made relative to other sizes. Most sizes during that period were medium and large.

Today extra large helmets are very hard to find. This rates as very good condition. If there is a problem or concern contact me and I'll make it right. Once feedback is received I will reciprocate.
