598th SQUADRON ORIGINAL WW II ARMY AIR FORCE PATCH & GUNNER FLIGHT INFO ETC. Beautiful condition on this patch which is chain stitched embroidery on wool. Unusual design top hat on a bomb. Measures 5 1/2 x 6 Also comes with a group of 15 individual flight logs from April 1944 to April 1945 for a waist gunner. Also records of combat times and sorties about 10 pages and 3 pages of crew lists from training in early 1944.

Also a nice condition brochure sent to the members of the 397th squadron(part of the 598th) to order a book on their squadron produced after the war. Lots of great info on this squadron in this brochure. One page of flight logs and 1 page of combat times shown. The last 4 scans are of the brochure. Great starting price on a very scarce piece of World War II history.
