Vintage, WW II 1942, A. AF-42-6481, aperiodic aircraft compass (has compass fluid), BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION, PIONEER INSTRUMENT DIVISION, in wood box. 7" Diameter x 4"H. Finger-joint construction wood box, cosmetically rough but solid, 9" square x 5 1/2"H. Hinges, latches, and handle work good. Total weight of compass in wood box 9lbs.
