Original WWII Era US Army Air Force AAF Type A-8 Summer Flying Helmet Wired w/R-14 Receivers & AN6530 Goggles - Size Large - ID'd to William C. Hoffman - Dated 1941 - Excellent Condition. The helmet is Wired with a set of R-14 Receivers. The helmet is contract dated 1941.

Also included is a set of AN6530 Goggles. The goggles are in excellent condition, nice rubber, no cracks or chips in the glass. This helmet is made of OD Green cotton twill cloth. The original chin strap is present.

The helmet has had a set of leather cups added for the R-14 Receivers. There is a leather name tag on the back of the helmet : HOFFMAN. Included is a vintag business card from William C.
