WWII U. S. ARMY AIR CORPS NAVIGATOR OFFICER'S SHIRT withTROOP CARRIER PATCH CHOCO

This is a very nice World War II Army Air Force Navigation Officers wool shirt that is in excellent condition. It is constructed of officer grade dark chocolate brown officers grade wool and is accompanied and is complete with all the dark chocolate brown buttons. The shoulders are with button-down epaulets with the interior collar area lined in a dark brown satin material. Sewn into the collar area is tailors label that reads, REGULATION OFFICERS SHIRT - FORM FIT SHRUNK ALL WOOL GABARDINE WOOL LINED WITH SKINNERS RAYON SATIN.

Sewn above the left breast pocket is a Navigators wing embroidered in white cotton thread on a dark chocolate brown backing. Sewn to the left shoulder is a khaki cut edge Airborne Troop Carrier patch. Except for two, smaller than pinhead size wear holes on the lower part of the left sleeve, the shirt is without any damage or mothing.

Shoulder to shoulder across back: 18 inches. Shoulder to cuff: 22 inches. Armpit to armpit: 22 inches. Back of collar to lower hem: 32½ inches.
