Filmo Tripod, Chicago, US Pat No 1,919,554 US Pat No 1,896,086, Made in USA. Second tag reads: "US Army Air Corps, Tripod B-1 Camera, Specification No 31013-A". Tripod measures approximately 34" unextended and 56" fully extended. Patent Nos date item to 1933, 1934.

From what I can find, US Air Corps was founded in 1926 and became US Air Force in 1947. It is in very good, sturdy condition.
