1944 Dated US Army Air Force USAAF Type B4 WW2 Pilot's Life Preserver

This is a very cool 1944 dated USAAF pilot's type B4 life preserver. It is labeled property of the U. Government and has the date 1944. It was manufactured by Firestone R & L. Even though it is not stamped USAAF, we BELIEVE it was intended for an Army pilot.

The piece is in very good condition for its age. It is quite hard to find these life vests without it being deteriorated. Most of the writing is visible including the date, although it is hard to read. Both of the CO2 cartridges are still intacted.
