WWII USAAF Uniform 5th Air Force CBI Patch Chevrons Sergeant Shirt Dickies Army

Original World War II US Army Air Forces khaki uniform shirt featuring. 5th Air Force shoulder patch (left shoulder). USAAF winged star roundel (right shoulder).

Technical Sergeant chevrons on both sleeves. 8 overseas service bars (yellow). 6-year hash mark (diagonal service stripe). The shirt is in good vintage condition and shows signs of period wear.

It is made of khaki cotton twill and has a tag from Par-Ex Military Shirts inside the collar. The 5th Air Force patch and overall configuration strongly associate this piece with the Pacific Theater during WWII, where the 5th was active in campaigns across New Guinea, the Philippines, and Japan. This shirt is an excellent original example for collectors, historians, or museum display. Please review all photos for condition. This piece has no smell or must.

It has been on display in a museum for many years in the dry southern Nevada climate.
