The wings are marked sterling and Amcraft. Amcraft was a noted maker of WWII US Officer Insignia crafted from precious metals.
These Pilot Wings have some serious heft to them. They feature a pin back device with locking lever.They have been worn and show sterling tarnishing (check out my captain bars listed separately) but can be polished. Sterling wings have some heft to them, are pin back with locking lever and needle pin. Wings were worn, have tarnishing to recessed areas, backside as photographed, shows wear from use.
