WWII US Army Air Force AAF Officers Cap Wool Pilot Service Hat World War Two

From a collection of a officer's issued gear. The veteran was a pilot with items spanning WWII through the 1960s.

I have not yet been able to identify the veteran's name and this cap does not have the insignia if I find it before it sells I will update this listing.
