This is a fine World War II U. Army Air Corps pilot's wing that remains in excellent condition. It is a full-size uniform jacket wing that measures 3 inches from wing tip to wing tip.
It is well struck and exhibits sharp, well-defined detail. The wing is heavy, with a solid unmarked back and a thick swing pin and roller locking catch. The wing possesses a beautifully age toned patina and remains a beautiful example in excellent, undamaged condition.
