Wwii U. S. Army Air Corps Pilot Wing By Blackinton Pin Back, Sterling

This is a very fine World War II Army Air Corps Pilot's wing that remains in excellent condition. The wing is full size and measures 3-inches from wing tip to wing tip.

It is extremely well struck, exhibiting sharp detail, and beautiful fletching to the wing feathers. The reverse is incised with'STERLING BY BLACKINTON' behind the central shield.

The swing pin and roller locking catch are in place and remain fully functional. The sterling silver is now with a very attractive age toned patina.
