Near Mint WWII US Army Air Force Type B-11 Parka Jacket Coat Men's size 42

Offered today is an outstanding all original WW2 US Army Air Force Type B11 cold weather winter flying flight parka made by Ben Greenholtz and Co that is going to be hard to upgrade. These were issued to flight crews and pilots like the famed Chuck Yeager towards the latter half of the war for combat missions over Europe. This is an amazing survivor showing only the slightest bit of wear to the right arm. There is no other damage to report. All buttons are present (one is off but in the pocket), no staining, the elastic waist is tight and importantly there is no old smell!

It had been stored in a cedar chest for decades. The super warm alpaca and sheepskin lining looks almost new. The cuffs have zero wear which is practically unheard of. The size is a 42 but was intended to be worn over clothing so there is a lot of space for a big chest. If it wasn't for the two minor holes on the sleeve I would be calling this stone mint.
