Curtiss-Wright R1820 Cylinder Head B-17 BOMBER B17 USAAF ARMY AIR CORPS WWII

This is a genuine Curtiss Wright R1820 Engine Cylinder Head, the R-1820s are the same engines that were used on B-17 Bombers. As a matter of fact, I was told by the old gentleman that I bought it from that it did indeed come from a B-17 at one time. The Gentleman that I bought it from has been a Military Aircraft collector for a very long time, all the way back into the 1950s. This particular head was sitting in a warehouse for a very long time. I put the head covers back on and cleaned it up on the outside to make it look very presentable.

If you are looking for a workable part, I do not have any paperwork. If you are a collector of WWII Air-War items then this would be a must-have! You could own a piece of a B-17 Bomber! (The last two pictures are for reference only).
